This recording was made after a recital “Concerto Sentimentale”, during the nostalgic moment when I felt like playing the songs and romances I grew up with. “ Those were the days”, “Kalinka”, “Steppe all around”, “My senny song” – Inspired by Impromptus of Schubert "his improvisations", I was thinking of how music can communicate, and if I could speak only through music and piano, would would I say? My very personal nostalgic version of famous Russian folksongs.
