Raiders Trade WR Davante Adams to Jets! Kay Adams Reacts to Aaron Rodgers Reunion in NY

Описание: Ian Rapoport broke the news this morning that the Jets have landed Davante Adams in exchange for a conditional 3rd round pick that could turn into a 2nd based on performance. We’ll see if he can help Aaron turn this team around after a 2-4 start and make a run at a Lombardi.

We’re going to see if Aaron truly does have the ability to turn any team around. But even with the disappointment last night…and the 2-4 record…the Jets are STILL just a game back of a wild card
spot in an AFC that’s seen a number of teams start slow. That’s why I don’t think this is a case of too little too late yet…especially after some of the positive signs we saw last night from this offense.

For the first time all year…we saw the Jets move the ball consistently, Breece and Garrett Wilson combining for almost 300 yards. The penalties and the sloppiness have to get cleaned up for sure…but you’re crazy if you don’t think Davante is going to fix the red zone issues and take this offense to another level.

As I’ve said throughout this process…1) I want Davante to be happy. I think playing with Aaron again will check that box. And 2) I want him to play for a contender. There’s work to do there obviously, but I do think he will elevate these Jets and have them in the mix in this AFC.

And for the Raiders…this is rough. It sucks to lose a star player like this. All I can say as at least they’ve ripped the band-aid off and can move forward without this hanging over them. All eyes are on Tom Telesco now…how can he get this thing turned around. You’d have to think it starts with finding a QB for the future. He found Herbert for the Chargers…he needs to figure that out here before things can get better for this organization.
