Rustic Gold Buttercream Strokes- Rosie's Dessert Spot

Описание: In this tutorial we will use a very simple painting technique to create the illusion of gold buttercream strokes. This cake is super easy to replicate and well suited to the beginners in the cake decorating world. Enjoy!

BUTTERCREAM:
300 grams unsalted butter
600 grams icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 to 3 tablespoons milk

I use these butter based cakes above because they are sturdy under fondant and stable at room temperature, as are the muds.

And that's how it's done :) This cake was gifted to a good friend of mine on her birthday (That same day) I do plan on uploading the cake being cut into, although it will be a video uploaded to instagram rather than YouTube (As it's not a tutorial. Instagram I am a lot more carefree about, I will add personal things on there, but I just get the feeling personal videos wouldn't be received well on YouTube, this is more a learning space I think :) let me know if you feel differently about this!
