A truly gorgeous seaside town peppered with historic landmarks, a mile-long promenade, sprawling sea views, and some of the most impressive reminders of its history as a beloved resort, there's so much that makes Newcastle the perfect destination!

On our walk around Newcastle, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including Newcastle Beach, the Mourne Mountains (including Slieve Donard), Tropicana Warm Sea Pools, Annesley Mansions, Newcastle War Memorial, the River Shimna, Newcastle Promenade, Shimna Estuary Footbridge, Castle Bridge, Old St. Mary's Catholic Church, Main Street, St. Mary's Hall, Newcastle Presbyterian Church, the Donard Hotel, Our Lady of the Assumption Church, former Newcastle Railway Station, and the Slieve Donard Hotel.
