So our New Year's Eve was pretty cool (aside from having two hotels cancel our reservations, and then having to walk around for 2 hours to find a room that cost 5x more than usual), but we didn't manage to take any photos or videos after this one around 6pm local time. All in all a fun time, as they turn the main street on Lakeside into a pedestrian only zone and have a four-day festival.
This video was shot in one of the main intersections at 539pm, and is relatively empty compared to how it looked a few hours later, where there were literally so many people that you could barely move, or at least that's what we were told, as our memory gets quite hazy at that point.
Which is all to say that if you're ever in Nepal for New Year's Eve, Pokhara is the place to be....
