Big mining update from Odisha! Gold-bearing stones have been identified in multiple districts of the state. As per official information, traces of gold deposits have been found in:

Deogarh district (Adas-Rampali area)

Kendujhar district (Gopur-Jaldihi area)

Mayurbhanj district (Madansahi-Kanjia area)

Exploration activities are currently underway in these regions. The Odisha Mining Corporation has conducted preliminary surveys at different stages, confirming the presence of potential gold mines in several locations.

This information was shared in the Assembly in response to a question raised by MLA Vijay Dalabehera, with Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena presenting the details.
