DIY Stirplate - Powerful and Cheap

Описание: In this video I show you how I made my own stirplate. This is more powerful than some more expensive commercial ones out there! You can see me using it in my Tabasco sauce video (   • Tabasco Style Hot Sauce Recipe Part 2  ).

The parts for this shouldn't cost you much. What you need:

a box. I used one that I bought on Amazon (http://amzn.to/2mQoqh2), but you can use an old cigar box, or anything else you have lying around.

PC fan, you should have one lying around, or in an old broken PC. If you don't, then you can buy one for £5 (http://geni.us/arcticfan)

Rare earth/Neodynium magnets (http://geni.us/neomag)

You need a way to control the speed of the fan. In the video I am using a potentiometer (https://goo.gl/D9zHkr). I actually switched this out for a PWM 12v motor control system, which is much more controllable and doesn't heat up like a potentiometer. So I would suggest this: http://geni.us/pwmcontrollerdc.
