उत्तर प्रदेश में मतदाता सूची के मसौदा पुनरीक्षण (Special Intensive Revision — SIR) के तहत लगभग 2.89 करोड़ वोटर्स के नाम ड्राफ्ट वोटर लिस्ट से हटा दिए गए हैं। इस प्रक्रिया में नाम हटने के बाद Election Commission ने दावे और आपत्तियाँ दर्ज कराने की विंडो खोली है, जिसमें जिन लोगों के नाम नहीं हैं वे 6 फरवरी 2026 तक आपत्ति दर्ज करा सकते हैं। नाम जांचने और सुधार करवाने के लिए मतदाता ECI की वेबसाइट, ECINet ऐप या अपने बूथ लेवल अधिकारी (BLO) से मदद ले सकते हैं।
In Uttar Pradesh, nearly 28.9 million voter names have been deleted from the draft electoral roll as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. After the draft list was published, the Election Commission of India opened a claims and objections window until February 6, 2026 for voters whose names were omitted. Affected voters can check their status online via the ECI portal, the ECINet app, or contact their Booth Level Officer (BLO) to file corrections or re-inclusion requests.
