I set the goal: turn this huge piece of timber into small, stove-sized firewood processing pieces. We started with the classic axe, but when the log proved too difficult—a common issue when learning to split wood—we had to switch to the electric log splitter. Tony did great, despite a super close call with the axe that gave us both a scare and highlighted the importance of a firm grip and safety gear!
