Nemours, located on the river Loing, is 84 kilometers SE of Paris, just under an hour's drive from the Capital.
Visiting a new organ for the first time requires some time to explore its tonal possibilities and to become familiar with the layout of the console and the feel of its action. This video is an attempt to present the various colours of this fine 17th/18th century organ at the church of St Jean-Baptiste, Nemours, restored by Yves Koenig 1985-88.
Errata - the end title credits should read St Jean-Baptiste and not St Pierre!
