Описание: Solo Cross Country to Lake Station, New Zealand. This flight was during my cross country phase of my CPL training in New Zealand. Lake Station in South Island was one of my favourite destination to fly as the view is lovely as well as the approach is challenging.
To fly the approach you have to fly between the mountains to runway which is located at a narrow patch of valley in the middle of the terrains. Mountain flying is quite challenging as you need to takle very rough weather with mountain waves and severe turbulence. Also you need to be precise with the lateral and vertical path as you will be very close to high terrains.

This video is about one such approach you will love to see this view from the cockpit. I have also flown to many such beautiful places across New Zealand and would be sharing you such videos on YouTube.
