The Civil War was one of the bloodiest war in XIX Century.
To all the men (soldiers or civilians) who died during this war, requiescant in pace.
President Andrew Johnson granted pardon and amnesty to all Confederate soldiers in 1868, this restored to them “all rights, privileges, and immunities under the Constitution and the laws which have been made in pursuance thereof”
