Showing how to replace the battery in a Daily Disposable vape, specifically a Menthol NJoy Daily Disposable.

*While this can be done safely, the presence of a Lithium based battery brings in a lot of potential issues. Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer batteries can be very dangerous (I believe this is a Lithium Polymer battery since most disposable vapes use LiPo).
*Any damage to them can create a chain reaction that releases flammable vapors and can lead to intense fires or explosions. Even a battery as small as the one shown in the video has the potential to do significant damage.
*Additionally, any vapors released from a Lithium ion/polymer battery will be toxic. As are any liquids that may be released from the battery.
**Again, please do not attempt this at home!
If after everything I've said you attempt this, please for the love of god do NOT disassemble the Li-Po battery! Go watch someone do it, it's extremely dangerous for professionals to do in a controlled environment.
*And dispose of any Lithium based battery in a safe and ethical way. Places like Lowe's have bins to collect lithium batteries for recycling. Do not put them in your household garbage!
When I mentioned "some metals don't conduct electricity well" this mainly happens when there is an oxide layer that has built up on the metal but can also be caused by there being an epoxy resin or other polymer on the metal. For instance, if you tried to use an Aluminum can, the inside has a very thin layer meant to keep the liquid from reacting with the metal.
Also, there is a spectrum of conductivity with Silver, Copper, Gold and Aluminum being the best conductors of electricity. An easy replacement for the metal I used would have been a piece of Aluminum foil folded up. It just needs to be squeezed together tightly each time you make a fold.
There are devices made for connecting AA and AAA batteries, but what I made took a minute and was essentially free since I had the pieces laying around. Plus, as I mention in the video, you do not want it connected all the time as the wick will continuously burn.
