Summary:
In this vlog, I’m taking on the challenge of cooking a classic Japanese curry from scratch in just 30 minutes! Between freelance work (starting at 200 yen/hour!), managing a household, and a cracked iPhone screen, my day is a constant race against time. Join me for a real, unfiltered look at life as a busy 38-year-old mom in Osaka.

Hi, I'm Rin.
I'm a 38-year-old mom living with my husband and 3-year-old daughter in a 2LDK rental apartment in Osaka.
I spent my three-year maternity leave teaching myself how to work from home, and I finally achieved it. I'm currently working as a freelance creator, facing the harsh reality of starting at just 200 yen per hour. Because I want to spend as much time as possible in front of my computer, my motto is to keep housework to the bare minimum.
My biggest struggle? Cooking every single day.
That's why I set a strict 30-minute limit for dinner. It's all about finishing efficiently and deliciously, with as little extra effort as possible.
This video captures those hectic 30 minutes before I pick up my daughter. From using 100-yen store hacks to fix my cracked iPhone screen, to being calmed by my daughter’s mysterious question, "Mommy, do you like paws?", this isn't a "glamorous" or "perfect" life. It's a real, hardworking, and sometimes messy life, but I’m doing my best to make my dreams come true.
Today's Recipe: Our Family's Classic "Kokumaro" Curry
This is the only curry that satisfies my husband’s picky taste and my need for speed!
・Curry Roux: Kokumaro (Mild) – it’s the only choice in our house!
・Beef: 200g
・Potatoes: 2
・Carrots: 2
・Onions: 1.5
・Secret Ingredient: Consommé (add with 1 minute left!)
