We left the hotel early as we had a full day of adventures ahead of us! We drove first to the Hoover Dam. We parked up and joined the hour long tour of the dam. This took us into the dam and into the generator room! It was fascinating. We also got to walk along one of the inspection tunnels. After the tour we drove across the Dam into Arizona to get a view of the back of the dam. We then drove back to another view point to see the front of the dam.

Once we'd finished with the Dam we drove to The Grand Canyon West. This is managed by the Hualapai Tribe and had changed significantly since we were last here in 2005! At the terminal we first got the bus to Eagle Point. From here we walked along the glass walkway. We were not able to film here. We grabbed some lunch then headed to the next stop, Guano Point.

We enjoyed this part more, we were able to roam around a lot more. Once we'd spent plenty of time exploring and looking at the views we headed back to the car. We stopped off at the Joshua Tree Forest and a view point near the Hoover Dam as the sun was going down.

Someone at Hoover Dam had recommended stopping at Boulder City for dinner so we drove into Boulder and found a restaurant called The Dillinger for dinner. It was lovely.

Once we were done we drove back into Las Vegas.
