Levelling up my Pop game on the modular.
Cover of Titanium by Sia and Lady Gaga.
Setup a small and very focused modular rig of 2 84HP rows. Two analogue voices (bass - Moog Mavis and lead - Joranalogue Cycle 5 and a Befaco Pony filter), plucked strings (2hp Pluck), polyphonic piano (knobula Pianophonic). Kick from 2HP kick, hats from Pico Drums and Claps as samples on TipTop One. Reverb and delay from Make Noise Mimephon and Phaser from FxAid using send and receive from Cosmotromic CosmixPro.
Playing expression with this patch by using a Theremin aerial and a Bella.IO Gliss to modulate filters and wave folding.
Using Hermod to play four melody lines and three rhythm tracks - painstakingly recorded to Hermod one track at a time in chunks of 16 bars.
Got some other cover versions coming using this rig too :)
