In this video I show how to crochet lacy scarf with big shells using treble crochets. Other stitches used in this pattern are chains, single crochets, and double crochets. There is only one repeating row in the pattern, but I make a row of double crochets in the beginning and in the end, so that both ends of the scarf have straight edges.
The pattern can be easily adjusted to a bigger size, and this stitch can be used for a variety of other crochet projects!
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Materials: Worsted (category 4) acrylic or acrylic/cotton blend yarn, about 430 yards (200 grams)
I used four skeins of Knit Picks ComfyTM Worsted, color Celestial
Hook size G/6 (4.25 mm)
