Bible in a Year 2026, Day 58 of 365: God gives the Ten Commandments, the core of the Torah, to the Jews because they were the only ones close enough to worthy to receive them. But receive them they did. If they had not, the world as we know, every last person, would have ceased to exist. There was no Plan B. Give the Law. And send the Messiah to redeem us from our sin of being unable to keep the Law. Only Jesus kept the Law, making himself the unblemished Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
