The remaining seats are divided among junior allies, including LJP(RV) (28 seats), HAM (6 seats), and RLM (6 seats). The Opposition Mahagathbandhan (MGB), or INDIA Bloc, is spearheaded by Tejashwi Yadav, who is the Chief Ministerial face. The RJD has the largest share (142 seats), followed by the INC (61 seats), the Left parties (33 seats), and VIP (12 seats). A major point of tension in the MGB is the lack of seat-sharing consensus, which has led to "friendly contests" in 14 constituencies, where alliance partners like RJD and Congress are fighting each other, risking a split in the Opposition vote.

This election is also seeing the entry of a new disruptor: Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party (JSP), which is contesting all 243 seats on a platform of clean politics, governance, and education. Campaigning is a mix of traditional and high-tech methods, with the RJD using AI-generated videos and memes to target youth voters, while the NDA and Congress rely heavily on grassroots mobilization and public rallies.
