Xur is available every weekend from Friday 09:00 GMT/UTC till Sunday 09:00 GMT/UTC.

Xur sells exotic armor pieces, one for each class (Titan, Hunter, Warlock) every week. He also sells a random exotic weapon and two exotic weapon bundles with ornament. To buy exotic armor and weapon from Xur you will need Strange Coins. To buy exotic weapon bundles you will need Strange Coins and Silver Dust.

You can also buy several other useful items from Xur for Strange Coins like Heavy Ammo Synthesis, Three of Coins, Glass Needles, Exotic Shard and Mote of Light.

Xur is in average form this week. Buying recommendation: 3/6.

Titan: Ruin Wings exotic gauntlets - Heavy ammo drops more often and contains more ammo in each drop. In principle this is a good exotic, having more heavy ammo is a good thing. However there are much better exotics for a Titan. Buy it only to complete your collection.

Hunter: Don’t Touch Me exotic gauntlet - Taking damage from a melee attack makes you briefly invisible. One of the most useless exotics. Do not buy it, unless you want to complete your collection.

Warlock: Claws of Ahamkara exotic gauntlets - Gain an additional Melee Charge. There are far better exotics for a Warlock than this one, buy it only to complete your collection.

Weapon: Trespasser exotic sidearm. Reloading after a kill causes the next burst to be a longer, more powerful superburst. This weapon fires bursts of bullets with deadly accuracy. This is a good weapon especially in the crucible, definitely BUY it.

Weapon Bundle: Monte Carlo and Royal Flush exotic auto rifle. Dealing damage with this weapon reduces your melee cooldown and grants a chance to fully charge your melee ability with each kill. This is a very useful weapon in the crucible especially if you like to melee enemies, definitely BUY it.

Weapon Bundle: Zhalo Supercell and Not a Toy exotic auto rifle. Arc projectiles have the chance to chain lightning when enemies are close together. Double kills with this weapon charge a small amount of Super energy and return ammo to the magazine. Zhalo Supercell is one of the best weapons in Destiny, it is very good in both PVE and PVP, definitely BUY it.
