Описание: Friday, August 29, I revisited Rolling Mill State Park. The last time I was there was on Earth Day back in 2022. However, I knew there were things that I missed so I decided to go back, and I’m so glad that I did because there was much more to see. I hiked the Creek Trail that lead down to Mill Creek where I saw the stone ruins of the housing where millworkers lived. One was a single unit that housed one family or several workers, the other was a double unit that housed two families. Both contained stonework, heavy fireplace lintels, and attached kitchens. They date from the first quarter of the 19th Century. I also saw what was once Barker’s Mill and what was left of a house that was next to it. I also saw more stone ruins that were close by. The weather was perfect on this day, sunny & 75, low humidity. Enjoy! ✌️
