The Cardiac Sciences team at AIIMS Bhopal recently performed a complex Transcatheter Double Valve Replacement (TAVR and Valve # followed by staged Tip-to-Base LAMPOON and TMVR) in an elderly patient. This technically demanding case required exceptional precision, planning, and multidisciplinary coordination.
To the best of our knowledge, this represents India’s first Tip-to-Base LAMPOON performed through a TAVR valve at the aortic position, marking a significant advancement in the transcatheter management of multivalvular heart diseases.
