About Pashupatinath Temple:
One of the most sacred and ancient temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979,
believed to have been built in the 5th century.
Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, it’s a major religious and cultural landmark in Nepal.
Temple Timings:
• Open daily from 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Aarti Timings:
• Shiva Aarti: 6:00 PM
• Bhasma Aarti (Ash Ritual): 5:00 AM (on special days)
Entry Fee:
• Free for Nepalese and Indian nationals
• Around NPR 1000 (approx. ₹625 / USD 7.5) for other foreign tourists
