Baba Bulleh Shah has shown extreme bravery and secularism while writing against the religious bigotry and tyranny of the rulers of his times.
Dr Lajwanti Ram Krishan calls him 'secullar poet' due to his resistence against religious clergy and speaking of humanism.
Punjabi Poetry of Baba Bulleh Shah consists of Kafian, Dohre, Baranmah, sattwara, Gandhan and Siharfian. He died in 1758 in Kasoor (West Punjab). Baba Bulleh Shah's tomb is in Kasoor.
