Dramatic Footage Shows Volcano Eruptions in Iceland | Full Series

Описание: A volcano on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland has erupted for the seventh time since December 2023.

While the eruption poses no threat to aviation, authorities have warned of gas emissions across parts of the peninsula and the nearby town of Grindavik.

It created a fissure of around 3km long, but Iceland’s meteorological office estimated the eruption was considerably smaller than the previous one in August.
