Follow this recipe for some amazing Red Wine CANDIED PEARS. These glass like pears are candied with red wine and spices and taste amazing. They are perfect with a cheese of charcuterie board and also make for a beautiful garnish for desserts and drinks.
Ingredients:
Ripe but firm Bosc Pears (Barlett pears also work well)
1 1/2 cups of Red Wine (Cabernet, Merlot)
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cinnamon stick
3-4 cloves
1 star anise
