Warp Knitting is an advanced garter bar weaving technique for the flatbed knitting machine. Although It does not require electronic patterning, or a ribber, this technique can create very dramatic knit fabrics.

This video is the launching point for all your Warp Knitting adventures. Not for the faint of heart, in Warp Knitting Basics you will learn how to use the garter bar as a weaving device. In the introduction, several variations of straight-line warp knitting are shown. This video however, is focused on learning the techniques. In future videos we will discuss more intricate stitch patterns and their variations.
