An in depth look at the Hydro Next Gen Moc from Merrell. The Next Gen Hydro Moc is a good improvement over the old Hydro Moc in terms of comfort and design. The addition of the FloatMax foam midsole gives the Hydro Moc the added comfort and compression that was missing from the old Hydro Moc. I was never a big fan of the older design, compared to other similar offerings like the Crocs Pollex or even the Yeezy Foam RNR, at the time the Hydro Moc was at the tail end of the foam shoe world. Merrell has kept with it though adding new elements to the design and creating something different that fulfills a lot more than old Hydro Moc offered.
