Rose needs a balanced food generally referred as macro and micro nutrients. In this video we discuss the benefits and use of single super phosphate (SSP) fertilizer for Roses.
Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium are the major macro nutrients for Roses and any other plants, called NPK. Phosphorus plays a major role in the growth of new tissue and division of cells. Plants perform energy transmissions, that requires phosphorus. One of the benefits of phosphorus in plants is proper development of the roots.
SSP can be applied as direct soil application or as drench.
