This time, I created it by combining the sound of ocean waves with sanshin bass music.
Relax with the sounds of the ocean
Sanshin is a type of stringed instrument. It is mainly used in the Amami archipelago of Okinawa and Kagoshima prefectures in Japan.
During the Eiroku era of the Sengoku period, it was introduced to mainland Japan via the Ryukyu Kingdom and Sakai, where it became one of the origins of the shamisen. Compared to the sanshin, the mainland shamisen has a longer neck, while the Chinese sangen has a smaller body compared to the length of the neck.
The original Chinese sangen also became established in mainland Japan, along with shingaku, which was brought by the Chinese who came to Nagasaki during the Edo period. Since the shamisen was made from the skin of cats and dogs, Chinese sangen were also commonly called ``snake skin'' in mainland Japan. The snake skin line disappeared in mainland Japan due to the decline of Seiraku in the wake of the Sino-Japanese War that broke out in 1894.
