This is part of the mini refresh series and covers removing the original pistons from the BMW Mini Peugeot PSA Prince engine. Once they are out we remove the original piston rings replacing them with superior rings to prevent the oil burning problem these engines suffer from in particular the oil control rings. This is the same for all prince engines fitted to BMW Mini N14,N12,N18, Peugeots EP6 and Citroën cars. The video then covers putting the pistons back in with new conrod bearings into a freshly honed block.
