Group C (1982-1993) remains one of the most incredible racing eras histories where car factories built the fastest cars to ever run the legendary 24hrs of Le Mans. But in 1991, the series began to plummet when the new regulations replaced the production-based engines with F1-derived spec engines. As you can imagine, it was highly price demanding.
