The QR24 is now available with IO-Link, serving as the world’s first contactless rotary position device with this interface.
Thanks to IO-Link, this single turn device can be connected with standard 3-wire cables rather than expensive, shielded twisted pair cables. Furthermore, the user can easily set the zero and set points of the sensor via IO-Link.
The QR24 comes with IO-Link version 1.1, which provides a powerful data storage function. The PLC can load the parameter data of the device to any other identical device that is connected. So, if it is ever damaged, simply take another one out of stock, plug it into the M12 cordset, load the data, and the machine will function just as before.
