Cutting your own Prime ribeye steaks at home is way easier than most people think 🥩
Grabbed an almost 15 lb Prime Ribeye Roast from Costco, trimmed off a little hard fat and silver skin, then sliced it to my preferred 1.5” thickness. Ended up with 14 thick, beautifully marbled ribeye steaks.
Meanwhile…a typical grocery store ribeye is about 1” thick, barely any marbling, and somehow still $30-$40 per steak 😬
If you love steak, meal prep, or you’re running a carnivore / high-protein diet, this is an absolute no-brainer. Plus nothing goes to waste:
• Fat trimmings → render into beef tallow
• Meat trimmings → burgers, Stew’s, chili, whatever you want
