In view of the Delhi Assembly elections, Congress has made a big announcement for women. Congress has announced Pyari Didi Yojana for the women of Delhi. Under this scheme, women of Delhi will get Rs 2500 every month. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said that I have come here to launch the Pyari Didi scheme. He said that I am confident that Congress will form the government in Delhi and Pyari Didi Yojana will be implemented in our first cabinet and Rs 2500 will be given to the women of Delhi.

This is on the same model which we implemented in Karnataka. Congress leader Devendra Yadav said that Congress is necessary for women empowerment. Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party's national convener Arvind Kejriwal had announced the Mahila Samman Yojana. He had said that if our government comes to power again in Delhi, we will increase the amount of this honor from 1000 to 21 rupees. Kejriwal had announced this in the 2024 budget. Women between 18 to 60 years will get the benefit of this scheme. The number of beneficiaries is 38 lakh.

According to sources, Delhi Assembly elections may be announced in the next 2-3 days. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party has fielded its candidates on all 70 seats. Congress has also released two lists and fielded some of its candidates. BJP has released the first list of 29 candidates two days ago.
