The suspect had been on the run in Goa for over two weeks before being apprehended in a multi-state operation. The incident involves a 16-year-old schoolgirl who reported months of abuse starting when the suspect was 18. He allegedly entered her home alone, photographed her without consent, and threatened violence—including acid attacks—against her and her family to coerce her into a sexual relationship. The harassment continued online, with the creation of deepfake videos and fake social media accounts in her name, leaving the girl too frightened to attend school.
