Ahead of Starship Flight 13, SpaceX completed a series of major test milestones, including a single-engine static fire on June 25, a full-duration 60-second static fire of all six Raptor engines on July 2, and a full-duration static fire of the Super Heavy booster on July 10 at Starbase, Texas.

On July 16, the first launch attempt ended with an abort after some engines failed to start up at T-0.
