So I'm due a hotpot. Today I'm in London's Chinatown at the first hotpot restaurant in the city; Shu Xiang Ge. Spicy, numbing, boiling broth of fresh Szechuan peppercorns, chilli, dried chilli, chilli oil, with a selection of beef cuts, chicken feet, tripe, noodles. And of course Baijo, Chinese rice wine pushing 60% ALC volume. Divine. What a meal.
