(2/3) Clevidipine offers another deposit for your drug bank. It has a different pharmacokinetic profile than the historically used nicardipine. Hypertensive Crisis? Need something fast on, quick off. Thats clevidipine. With a biphasic and terminal half life of 1 and 15 minutes respectively, its more rapid and has a shorter duration compared to nicardipine. Another unique charactreristic is the metabolism via RBC esterases.
