Hello all! In this video I restored a 2015 Subaru Outback that desperately needed attention. The customer was complaining that it was getting very difficult to see at night, and was considering replacing the headlights until she found out they could be restored.
I used a wet sanded with a 400 grit sandpaper to quickly remove any oxidation and scratches in the lens, then finished with a 600. I then dried the lens with a lint free towel, then alcohol wiped them to get rid of any leftover oxidation, oils and debris. Once it was completely dry, I applied the Clear coat which acts as a filler, and UV protectant.
Time for job: 21 Minutes.
