Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump holds a news conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Trump has issued a statement saying the world is “on fire and spiralling out of control,” and insisting the United States has “no leadership” (Harriet Alexander writes).
Trump, the Republican presidential hopeful, said that President Biden was “a non-existent president”, and Kamala Harris, the presidential nominee, “completely absent, too busy fundraising in San Francisco.”
He said that Iran wanted a Harris presidency, because they could then “take advantage of America”. Trump continued: “When I was president, Iran was in total check. They were starved for cash, fully contained, and desperate to make a deal. Kamala flooded them with American cash and, ever since, they’ve been exporting terror all over, and unravelling the Middle East.”
