This temple is 1100 years old. Sri Prasanna Venkata Perumal is the Moolavar and Sri Alarmel Mangai Thayar is considered as Svayambu. This temple is so beautiful and it has got wonderful vibration as soon as you enter the temple.
Also Narasimhar Utsavar resides along with Prasanna Venkatesar in Moolavar Sanithi.
Every month during Swathi Natchathiram, Narasimhar Perumal will come round the Praharams of the temple.
