Tree Based Farming - Banana Plantation

Описание: Through our Gram Seva Project in the Mundaragi Taluk Karnataka we have done a collaboration with the farmers (50-50) to plant 1200 banana trees per acre on previously low producing land. After one year, the initial 35 farmers have doubled their income with the crop. A very good result. This initiative is supported by the SBI Foundation.
