old man - a short film

Описание: hey whoever is reading this! this is a short film i made about a month ago about time, change, grief and myself. it's a personal piece i made for my final major project in my second (and last) year of college!

seeing as this is a pretty personal project, i suppose i'll give a brief description of myself. i'm aneuryn! i'm a 19 year old guy who's just a few months shy of beginning filmmaking at uni! i like to do a lot of things, whether it's documenting my life, taking fun photos and videos on my camera, playing my guitars and facing the trials and tribulations of writing music, drawing quick little sketches in my little booklet, making other random youtube videos and stuff like that! i find i carry a lot of residing emotions with me and that's what i've found myself recently wanting to channel into film projects and stuff like that, as it helps me process what i'm feeling and gives me something to work with when telling a story!

this is a project that covers a lot of topics that were on my mind. i practically just spilled what i was thinking at the time into a little script, filmed that, then used footage i'd collected to build around what story i was trying to tell. i was originally gearing towards making this a travel vlog about my trip to kingston, as this trip was a peek into what my future life would be like for the next 3 years once i started university, but as i was making it i found myself mostly telling a story through the lens of grief. i feel like that was going to be inevitable in any story i end up telling hahahah! i hope this piece will resonate with anyone going through similar problems, feelings and more. you are not alone throughout grief and there's a world of people going through what you're going through and there's always gonna be people to talk to.
