Описание: মালয়েশিয়ায় বসবাসরত অনেক প্রবাসী আছেন যারা ভিসার মেয়াদ শেষ হয়ে গেলেও নানা কারণে দেশে ফেরত যাননি। কেউ হয়তো চাকরির কারণে, কেউ আবার ব্যক্তিগত সমস্যার কারণে থেকেছেন। এই অবস্থায় মালয়েশিয়ার সরকার নতুন এক নিয়ম চালু করতে যাচ্ছে যা অনেকের জীবনকে সরাসরি প্রভাবিত করবে।কিন্তু প্রশ্ন হলো—এই নতুন নিয়ম আসলে কেমন? আর প্রবাসীদের জীবনে এর প্রভাব কতটা গভীর হতে পারে?সম্প্রতি মালয়েশিয়ার স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী দাতুক সেরি সাইফুদ্দিন নাসিউশন ইসমাইল জানিয়েছেন, আগামী অক্টোবর থেকে ভিসার মেয়াদ শেষ হয়ে যাওয়ার পরও দেশটিতে অবস্থানকারী বিদেশিদের জন্য নতুন নীতি কার্যকর হবে। আগে যারা ভিসার মেয়াদ পার হয়ে যেত, তাদের প্রতিটি মামলার জন্য আলাদা কাগজপত্র তৈরি করে আদালতে পাঠাতে হতো। এতে প্রায় দুই সপ্তাহ সময় লেগে যেত। সেই ঝামেলা কমাতেই এবার সরাসরি জরিমানার ব্যবস্থা চালু হচ্ছে।
