With spring just around the corner, the weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer and the Ranch animals are out and about.
This is an especially busy time for the local wild turkey population as the spring breeding season is starting to ramp up.
The deer are still using the bedding area just off camera to the right, where they come out of a cedar thicket at the top a deep draw on the east side of the ridge.
And things wouldn't be complete without the predators, stay dog, raccoons, possums, coyote and a fox, which is seldom seen on camera.
There is no music track in this video, only the sounds of the surrounding woods, the ever present wind, which I try to mute, my ATVs, trains and planes. And the stars of this video, the animal providing the narration in their own words.
