その余韻を胸に、箱根と小田原を巡る冬のひとり旅です

箱根登山鉄道で箱根湯本から小田原へ
はじめて見る小田原ちょうちん、駅に流れる「お猿の籠屋」
旅先で知る、その土地らしさが心に残ります

今回どうしても行きたかったのが、小田原・御幸の浜
「海への扉」を撮るため、箱根湯本観光より優先しました
青く静かな海と、それぞれの時間を過ごす人たちの風景に癒され、
あらためて“海が好き”だと感じたひとときでした

宿泊は、箱根湯本の 養生館はるのひかり
無農薬野菜や玄米を中心とした食事、
源泉かけ流しの温泉で、静かに身体を休める宿です
にぎやかな旅ではなく、自分を労わるための一泊になりました

旅の終わりには、海の見える駅・根府川駅へ
太平洋を望む駅舎と跨線橋、
そして相模湾を眺めながらいただく蕎麦の時間

すべてを詰め込まず、
「また、今度」と余白を残す
そんな大人の冬旅の記録です

At age 62, I visited Mount Fuji for the first time. With that memory lingering in my mind, I embarked on a winter solo trip around Hakone and Odawara.

Taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto to Odawara. Seeing Odawara lanterns for the first time and the "Monkey Cage House" floating in the station.
Discovering the unique character of a place while traveling stays with you.

This time, I really wanted to visit Odawara's Miyuki-no-Hama. To photograph the "Door to the Sea," I prioritized it over sightseeing in Hakone-Yumoto. The calm blue sea and the scenery of people enjoying their time were soothing,
and it was a moment that reminded me of my love for the sea.

I stayed at the Hakone-Yumoto Yojokan Harunohikari
With meals centered around organic vegetables and brown rice,
and a natural hot spring, this inn offers a relaxing and peaceful retreat.
It wasn't a hectic trip, but rather a night spent pampering myself.

At the end of the trip, we stopped at Nebukawa Station, a station with ocean views.
The station building and overpass overlook the Pacific Ocean,
and then we enjoyed some soba noodles while gazing at Sagami Bay.

This is a record of an adult winter trip that doesn't pack everything in,
leaving room for "next time."
