Britain's first commercial radio stations each had a distinctive sound and truly local programming - a far cry from today's bland formats, simulcast across numerous regions.
Alphasound won the contract to create Devonair's first jingle package for the station launch in 1980 and this was the tape they used to pitch for other station contracts that were coming on-air around that time.
"A very special sound... for a very special station"! :)
