I prefer the old term HRT, hormone replacement therapy. Because that’s what it truly is: replacing what the ovaries no longer make.
Estradiol and progesterone aren’t optional. They’re essential. When the ovaries retire, the hormones vanish. HRT is not about “just giving hormones.” It’s about restoring what was lost.
