From Urban Streets to Sunset Coast. A Wandering Walk with Chiqui the dog

Описание: A slow walk starting in my neighbourhood, with Chiqui riding in her little dog backpack (her preferred way of travelling unless we’re in a “pack”).

We crossed through newly urbanised streets, where one house had unusual, quirky sculptures in its garden.

After that we came across a small tent from a homeless person, quietly set up off the path.
Further on we entered a half-built housing area - a strange, liminal space that feels like wandering through modern ruins: loose chairs, scattered debris, huge pipes you could crawl through, barrels, and everything out of place.

Eventually we slipped into a more natural path with bushes, then reached the coast, calmer and more open. We continued along the Jindalee foreshore and climbed up to James Park, carrying Chiqui for a stretch where the shrubs felt too close for comfort.

The walk ended in a beautiful golden sunset - soft, warm, and almost begging us to keep going.

A meandering journey through shifting landscapes, from quiet streets to the edge of the sea.
